Sean, an undergraduate student majoring in computer science and economics at the University of Chicago, worked in the Whitney Lab in Summer 2024 as a student in the UChicago SURFBOARD (Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Bioimaging for Oncology and Related Disciplines) program. He focused on segmentation-free methods for diagnosing glaucoma from retinal images using deep learning.
